For Buyers in Solar Lighting Industry, to learn how to recognize control modes for solar lamps.
In general, there are 3 automatic working modes for solar street lamps:
1. Light Control: This is a basic working mode for each solar lamp. Lamps are turned on or off automatically by sensing the intensity of the ambient light. Usually, solar lamps are turned on automatically at night and off automatically during the day.
2. Time Control: Basic on the light control, time control is used for energy saving - light dimming. Time control lamps are set different power in 2 or more period of time during lighting, and time period and power distribution will be set in factories before delivery, or could be set by remote controller sent together by factories.
3. Motion Sensor Control: Basic on the light control, time control is also used for energy saving - light dimming. There are 2 types of motion sensor for solar lamps optional, PIR or Microwave. For energy saving, PIR is little better than Microwave, because Microwave is more sensitive than PIR.
In addition, remote control is a semi-automatic way for solar lamps’ working, it is used to set different working mode to meet different requirements for customers. It is an optional function for solar lamps.
However, different mode for different working situation, we will choose the right mode for our customers.
